• Develop new applications of PA6 and its copolymers in fiber, package and/or engineering plastics.
• Conduct new product development (including synthesize) by working closely with sales team.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints together with business team.
• Provide technical service for PA6 and its copolymer applications in China may other country.
• Track the newest technology from both industries and academia.
• Provide direction and coach for technicians.
• Drive new ideation and invention disclosures.
• Ability to travel when required.
  
  

Qualifications:    

• University (>5 years related field experience) in chemistry, polymer science/engineering, material science/engineering or related majority.
• Have rich experience in polymer application development.
• Familiar with polymer synthesis and know how to synthesize polymer with specific structure. Familiar with nulcleation nylon 6 to reduce the molding cycle time and improve the process effeciency, fast molding developments.  Control the process to improve the materials of nylon and POM, PBT to adapt to use in -40 C degree area, improve the high temperature to 180 C degree applicaitons in aotomotive and space.
• Advanced fundamental knowledge in chemistry, polymer/material science and technology.
• Strong background in polymer processing, such as compounding, injection molding, extrusion, filament spinning, is preferred.
• Working experience in extruded films and applications and/or textile, is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge on development process, material characterization/test. Being familiar with six sigma and DOE is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing innovative solutions to customer needs
• Good project management and prioritization skills.
• Good team player, demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong execution capability, diligent working attitude with high efficiency is preferred.
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
